To eat as a vegan is really very simple. So simple you may be surprised. What I have done for the past twenty years is to be sure to get one of each of the following groups in my meal three times a day |

| Fresh fruit or vegetable | A bean, nut or seed product or several combined i.e.. peanut butter. | A bread / grain product such as rice, wheat, rye etc...(pasta, bread) | ||
| I pick and choose how much of each according to desire. | ||||
| If you want to loose weight you should increase the quantities of raw fruits and vegetables according to your appetite. You burn more calories in eating them than they provide. They also take up space in your tummy so you will have no room for fattening foods. Also eat two or three large meals of mostly raw fruits and vegetables.
